The commercial lines manger will be responsible for the direct oversight of the commercial insurance division and will be responsible to maintain a positive working environment as well as ensure the department is functioning at its highest potential. The manager will be responsible to ensure that every team member is providing the highest level of customer service that aligns with the company values of Fearnow Insurance. They must set goals, delegate tasks, and implement strategies for more efficient team operations.
Accountability is a necessity; therefore, the manager must inspect what is expected out of every team member. They must be able to communicate well with employees, clients, underwriters, and the producers of the commercial department. They must be detail oriented and able to keep up with a fast-paced work style. They must be highly motivated to organize, lead the commercial l team by example, conduct weekly meetings, market, and service commercial accounts, and eager to learn. They must have team player mentality (the betterment of the team and those around them is a must) and exceptional workplace etiquette. They must be able to handle high stress situations and appropriately diffuse difficult phone calls. The commercial lines manager will be responsible to report to the direct oversight of the VPs & President of the corporation.

Duties
- Lead the Team by Example
- Inspect for Quality Control
- Responsible for Growth of the Department
- Lead weekly Team Meetings
- Service Accounts
- Manage and Market Renewals as needed
- Work with Producer on their Accounts for Service
- Have the ability to perform any commercial duty
- Complete Accord forms applications & supplementals
- Get all paperwork ready to finalize new business
- Collaborate with the Team
- Provide Annual Employee Evaluations
- Work with Higher Authority on raises for all personnel
- Cultivate a passion for serving others
- Work with the administrator on various duties and tasks assigned
- Reviewing company performance to identify areas where individual employees and entire departments can improve their efficiency.
- Hire, train, and evaluate personnel.

- Have positive, upbeat attitude along with determination to complete tasks with excellence.
- Find solutions to problems presented
- Must be willing to jump in when necessary to assist staff at any given time and be able and willing to perform necessary duties including, but not limited to: change requests, certificates, marketing accounts, ect.
ORGANIZAITON
- Organize a highly functioning, growing commercial team that makes the process seem flawless to the clientele.
- Handle all renewals appropriately in a timely manner.
- Be able to self-organize and date-set with numerous new business deadlines.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize deadlines to organize workloads and turn around quotes and proposals ahead a schedule.
